Author Guidelines
The Hoplos Journal evaluation process follows an editorial flow with two stages: Evaluation of standards by the Editor and Evaluation of works by peers.
After submission to the system, the Editor evaluates the files according to the following criteria: Identification, scope, originality, title, and number of words.
In terms of identification, authors are expected to omit their identity from the files they submit, as well as any form of identification within the file itself.
In scope, the file is expected to be aligned with the research areas of the Journal, which are Strategic Studies and International Relations;
In originality, the article is expected to contain unpublished and original studies within the journal's area of research;
In terms of qualifications, authors are expected to meet the minimum qualification requirements requested by the journal, i.e., a bachelor's degree.
In terms of word count, the article is expected to meet the minimum and maximum word requirements of 4,000 to 8,000 words, excluding bibliographic references.
After ensuring that the above requirements have been met, the Editor sends the article to two reviewers aligned with the research area of the subject addressed.
